ACIEA at the 7th International Tree Fair
On 16 July 2025, at Bangr-Weogo park, ACIEA took part in the International Tree Fair, on the theme “Tree and culture”.
On Wednesday 16 July 2025, ACIEA took part in the 7th International Tree Fair (SIA) at Bangr-Weogo park in Ouagadougou.
The theme was “Tree and culture: the role of Sahelian youth in preserving the cultural values of trees in the face of climate change”, with the slogan “Protect the tree, inspire the future”. It brought together experts, young leaders, institutions and civil society organisations.
For ACIEA, the fair strengthened its commitment to environmental education and to involving young people in climate action. It was also a chance to widen its network and share its vision of Sahelian youth driving change by combining tradition and innovation.
