SAAGDO presented at the International Toilet and Hygiene Fair (SITAHO 2025)
On 7 November 2025, at 2iE, ACIEA presented SAAGDO to hygiene and sanitation experts.
On 7 November 2025, in the 2iE meeting room, ACIEA presented one of its flagship projects, SAAGDO, at the Ouagadougou International Toilet and Hygiene Fair (SITAHO 2025).
The presentation was a chance to talk with experts, answer their questions and gather feedback to improve the solution.
SAAGDO is a digital platform that maps pollution areas (all types of waste) and guides citizens to the nearest public toilets with an interactive map. A “challenge” section encourages eco-friendly behaviour by ranking the most committed citizens.
The team received many congratulations on the relevance of the approach and its value for hygiene and the urban environment.
